Accessible Links

ClassLink: ClassLink is your single sign-on solution!

For who?: Teachers, Students, Admin, Staff

What Will ClassLink Do?: ClassLink is a page that will store your usernames and passwords for the websites you use for school. It also allows you to store bookmarks.

How?

Single Sign On Apps vs. Bookmarks: An SSO app is one that typically requires a username and password in the upper right corner. Once your username and password are entered they are saved nad you do not need to enter them again. Any app without the key is a bookmark.

Tips:

Load the App!

Access all your District apps from your mobile device! Download the ClassLink Launchpad from any app store (Apple Store or Google Play)

How do I change a username or password?

NOTE; only for updates, not for initial login

How do I remove an app from a folder?: Right-click the app, select Remove App from dropdown menu. If unable to remove, consider making a folder to hide.

Being asked to install a Chrome extension?: Answer yes and add to Chrome. (District-issued devices already have the extension installed).

Initial Login: Make sure to not touch the touchpad or mouse while the apps are loading!

Once all set up, there are several apps whose passwords will automatically update when your password changes:

• District computer access

• District wifi (CVUSD)

• Office365

• Print Center

• Blackboard

• ClassLink

• Google Drive

• Google Classroom

The Student Experience: Students have a starter set of apps different from teachers. They may also add apps and personalize. Elementary students will only be able some curriculum apps via ClassLink and Junior High students will only access some curriculum apps via ClassLink.

Customize & Personalize: Right Click to apps to access options from the dropdown menu.

Add more Apps (SSO or Bookmarks): Click (+) on the top left. Use the “Search” box to find, click “Add:, and the app lands on your page! Enter your username nad password once (if an SSO) and you are set!

Hiding Apps/Choosing Colors (Edit Mode):

Rearrange your apps: If you would like to organize your apps you may drag and drop your apps in whatever sequence is most meaningful to you.

Avatar: Change your icon to a different face by clicking it, choosing “My Profile,” and “Change Image.”

How to change passwords: For Office and district email, your username is your full email [username]@ stu.chino.k12.ca.us and your password is the same as your ClassLink password. If you need to make changes, you can edit it on the ClassLink dashboard. Right click on the app that you need to fix and select Edit Password. On Chromebooks, you can tap with 2 fingers if you don't have a mouse. Click on the Edit Button to edit your username (email) and password. Make sure that both are correct then click Save.

Autolaunch apps

Right click on the icon and choose Set Auto Launch.

ClassLink Apps

If using a iPad, iPhone, or Android device, you can download the ClassLink Launchpad app:

ClassLink extension may need to be installed on personal devices.

The Chino Valley Unified School District has introduced a tool to students and teachers called a Single Sign-On (SSO) which will make using the internet much easier at school and at home.

Where is ClassLink?

Use at school and at home on Chrome browser.

How Do Students Log In?

Setting Up ClassLink: Most student Single Sign-On Apps will have student login information already, but there may be a few apps for which students need to enter their own username/password. It is likely this event will occur at school, however students who receive the pop-up may need to enter their own information the first time (only) using certain SSO Apps.
