About Caroline
Caroline Steinert has been a part of the Carrboro High School choral department for all four years of high school. This year she was selected as one of the top 3 Soprano 1's in the state, as part of the NC Honors Chorus, and was able to perform in a small group. She was also selected as part of the American Choral Director's Association Southern Regional Honors Ensemble. She led and arranged music for the Carrboro High School co-ed acapella group, Unnecessary Measures, and served as a section leader for the Soprano section in Chamber Choir. She has been actively involved in musical theatre in both the school and community. Last year, she played the role of Cinderella's mother in the production of Into the Woods. Next year she will major in Vocal Music Performance at East Carolina University.

Music Honor Ensembles

Participation in honor ensembles is an intense and competitive process that takes course over several months. Students prepare music and audition for placement in honors ensembles. If selected, they participate in a multi-day clinic conducted by a master clinician and conductor. After many more hours of rehearsal, the experience culminates with a public performance.

Note: The All State Chorus Concert was cancelled this year.
