Chattahoochee-Flint Regional Educational Service Agency (CF RESA) partners with district leaders and teachers to support the successful implementation of the WIDA English Language Development Standards and to strengthen educational opportunities for English Learners (ELs). Through professional learning, technical assistance, instructional resources, and collaboration with specialists from the Georgia Department of Education, CF RESA helps educators create impactful learning environments that promote both language development and academic success.
Specialists at CF RESA assist schools in implementing research-based instructional practices that support language acquisition across all content areas and foster shared responsibility among ESOL and general education teachers.
CF RESA also recognizes the critical role families play in student success. We support schools in building strong partnerships with multilingual families by promoting effective communication practices, increasing access to school information, and fostering meaningful family engagement.
