School Improvement

School Improvement Specialists support federally identified schools by partnering with school and district leaders to strengthen teaching, learning, and student outcomes. Working through the Georgia Department of Education's school improvement process, we provide targeted coaching, technical assistance, professional learning, and help with data analysis, needs assessments, collaborative planning, and progress monitoring. Our role is to help schools implement high yield instructional practices for effective tier 1 instruction, address areas of low performance, and build the capacity needed for sustained improvement for all student groups.
