About
The language center is the University's home for all learners, academicians, and professional staff that seek to improve their language skills. It develops and coordinates foreign language courses in Chamchamal. The Charmo University Language center (CULC) has been dedicated to providing language courses of excellent quality to language learners since 2018. By recruiting passionate and motivated instructors and utilizing a solid and thorough curriculum, we provide the ideal environment for language improvement. The Centre is certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Kurdistan and is bestowed authority by the Directorate of the Teaching Quality Assurance (QA) to grant English language certificates. Our center presents language courses for government employees, university staff, participants from the private sector, and all university graduates who would hope to enhance their English and pursue higher studies, such as MSc/MA and Ph.D. degrees.

Vision
The center strives to place its mark as one of the active centers in language teaching in the Region. It aims to activate the University's role in developing the community. It also hopes to develop higher education in the region and provide revenues for the University.
Mission
The Language Center is dedicated to excellence in language teaching, advised by current research and lifelong learning, both inside and beyond the classroom. Moreover, The Charmo Language Center (CLC) is devoted to presenting language courses of a remarkable quality to support participants unlock their potential and producing a satisfying contribution to their communities. By assigning well-qualified and committed instructors and using a vigorous and inclusive curriculum, CLC builds the ideal environment for rapid language improvement accessible. Remarkably, The Center offers English, Persian, and Arabic courses. Upon completing the course, the Center awards a certificate to the successful participants.
Objectives
We hope to
Provide access to excellent language teaching and advocate for language learning for all current members of the University.
Exploit the state-of-the-art pedagogies trend to develop tailored language teaching and learning materials for use across the University.
Advocate language learning and access to university language study to students in schools and colleges.
Teach language and familiarize students with the central language skills (i.e., Speaking, Listening, Writing, Reading, Grammar).
Seek effective collaboration with language centers locally and internationally, and institutes to provide the supports that will empower the teaching process.
Offer courses in the English language for students who want to improve their English to benefit from the English resources and compose academic papers.
Offer learning courses of English, Persian, and Arabic language for university staff.
Translate events and documents of the university.
