- Try and follow this schedule as closely as possible.
- Remember: Routines and schedules are important because:
- They influence a child’s emotional, cognitive, and social development.
- They help children feel secure.
- They help children understand expectations.
- They help reduce behavior problems.
- They can result in higher rates of child engagement.
- Do NOT forget to document and send me pictures of your student completing their work! Those kiddos will receive shout outs on our class pages!

This week we are learning about How We Organize Ourselves and Signs. We have been talking about signs and the importance of them in our community and setting. Watch the video and then either (1) create a sign for your home or (2) go on a hunt for signs in your neighborhood/home!

Morning Meeting: Read and respond to today's morning meeting.
Academic Time:
Math: Go on a number hunt around your house. How many numbers did you find? What numbers did you find? Can you count to that number? Can you write it?
ELA: Go on a scavenger hunt to find as many letters as you can. What does each letter say? Can you write it? How many letters did you find? Which letter is your favorite one? Why?
Fine Motor: Practice twisting.
Complete ONE square on each of the following Choice Boards: Reading, Math, & Letter/Words.
Story Time: Listen to Ms. Bapties do a read aloud. Answer the questions from the Reading Choice Board.
IB Time: Create a family sign!
