Let your students count legos, pennies, toothpicks etc (anything in your house).
How high can they count?
What was their strategy?
How did they sort the objects?
By shape, color, 10's, 5's etc?
(Watching your student count and organize can give you great insight on their mathematical skills)

We critically appreciate our own cultures and personal histories, as well as the values and traditions of others. We seek and evaluate a range of points of view and we are willing to grow from the experience.
If you are reading a book that shows being a communicator, snap a pic and share with Mrs. McClary and I'll put on our facebook page!
