I can determine text structures to identify the author’s purpose of a text.

3. Study the two anchor charts.

4. Read Level Reader- Blackbeard Story

5. Use the discussion cards that go along with the text.

6. Complete the independent practice after reading Blackbeard story.

7. Complete the extension activity if you choose!

8. Complete the indicated IXL lessons with a goal of a minimum smart score of 80.
