You are assigned some general CHA trainings when you start as a new employee or fellow. Please complete these within your first 2 weeks. You will get new HealthStream trainings assigned to you throughout the year, so please check on your portal occasionally and read any emails from hs-alerts@healthstream.com. You can access the trainings without Remote Access.
Epic is an electronic health records system used by CHA and other hospitals in the area. If you will be working with patients or research participants, you will need to gain Epic access and complete a 3-4hr long Epic orientation. Please let Ahmed Sanousi (asanousi@challiance.org) know you will need access and he will connect you with Tracey Carnevale (tcarnevale@challiance.org) to set-up an orientation. Orientations can be virtual or in-person.
CITI Trainings are required by Institutional Review Boards (IRB) for all research team members. You must complete these trainings before you can work on any part of the research study to ensure that you understand the importance of ensuring confidentiality, safety, and ethics when working with research participants.
If you already completed the necessary CITI trainings, then you can see if they are transferrable to your CHA CITI account using the document below.
If you have not already completed these trainings, please follow the instructions to register for a CITI account using your @challiance.org email address and completing the appropriate trainings.
Check with your research team lead or research manager, Frannie Marin (fmarin@challiance.org@challiance.org) if you have any questions.
