You can login to a CHA computer remotely on your personal computer CHA's Remote Access Portal. Please follow the instructions below to learn how to access the Remote Access Portal and what it is used for.
For First-Time Remote Access Users
Remote Access is used to access applications and software that are otherwise only available through a CHA computer. Details for setting-up Remote Access can be found on this CHA Google Site. Please see the "First-Time User" steps outlined in the "Portal" section of the Google Site. You will need to download the Imprivata dual login app on your phone and call the CHA Helpdesk at 617-665-2468.
What you Can Access Through the Remote Access Portal
The image on the right shows what the portal will look like on your personal computer once you login in remotely. You should only need to access three of the links on the portal.
StaffNet
StaffNet is CHA's internal information site. You can submit IT requests, search people in the directory, view recent CHA newsletters, fill out flu vaccination forms, find reimbursement request forms, etc. There is a lot of information on StaffNet, but unless you are manager, you will not use it regularly. Please see the section below for more information.
Time and Attendance
You can access the McKesson Time and Attendance portal to submit your timesheet through this link. Please see the Time, Attendance, and Payroll page for more information about submitting your timesheet.
Remote Desktop
The "CHA-TS01 Microsoft Terminal Services (HTML5 Access)" link will bring you to the remote desktop. Through this view, it will look like you are mirroring a CMC desktop and you will see a desktop screen with shortcut icons. Using these shortcuts, you can access HR's Infor Portal, Epic Medical Records, Time and Attendance (or use link in portal), HelpDesk Self-Service, and the Safety Event Reporting System.
