Proof of Monitoring Progress for Program Evaluation

• A written process for tracking and monitoring progress of ELs.

• List of ELs who have not attained proficiency in five years.

• List of ELs and a record of their annual progress toward attaining English language proficiency.

• List of ELs who have attained English language proficiency.

• List of ELs monitored for 1-4 years, number who met state content standards, number reclassifies as Els, analysis and decision tree used for decision making.

• List of ELs and a record of their performance on all state assessments.

Evaluation of the effectiveness of parent outreach.

• Parents surveys.

• Evaluation of the effectiveness of the outreach with findings and implications.

Provide Evidence of program improvements.

• Revisions of District Improvement Plan/Title III.

• Revision of Comprehensive Needs Assessment.

• Findings from yearly program evaluation.

• District Improvement Plan with goals, objectives, strategies and activities related to the EL/Title III Program.

• Last MDE accountability report.

• Description of the district.

• Process for schools needing improvement.

• Title III Improvement Plan for LEAs not meeting the State Accountability goals.
