Transport
Transport
Colegio Gran Bretaña offers a transport service, which is used by approximately 90% of our families. The school contracts Seturcol, a bus company specialised in school transport to run the service. In addition to the requirements of Colombian law, the school arranges for its own inspection of vehicles, which must meet standards of maintenance, safety, and performance.
All vehicles utilise whatsapp groups for communication between them and with the CGB and transport company coordinators. Parents are issued with direct contact details of the bus coordinators, the corresponding driver, and the bus assistant. As well as access to the On-track App, which contains a GPS system to enable families to track the bus location, report any change, receive notifications from the bus or the transport office, notify permissions, authorise guardians, and so on.
Parents will receive a welcome email from Ontrack. The user is the email that you register on Phidias and the password is chosen by yourselves.
Due to the nature of our school and to the high turnover of students, please take into account that adjustments to the routes may be made throughout the whole year, especially during the first weeks of school in order to accommodate the different needs of all of our families and in order to optimise the service.
We are aware that transport is a very sensitive issue for parents, and we appreciate your comments and suggestions, however, we also request your patience and respect for all of our staff.
Together the team works very hard to provide the best service in a city where traffic can be very difficult.
Due to the fact that the transport service is provided by a third party, and that the school pays this service on a monthly basis, only those students who are up to date in their payments will be allowed to receive the service.
ONTRACK APP
The vehicles are equipped with a GPS system managed by ONTRACK.
By downloading the app on your cell phones, you will be able to see where the vehicle is located in real time. We ask you to be at the bus stop at the assigned time and to be in contact with the bus monitor for more information.
Instructions to download the app:
1. Download the ONTRACK FOR STAFF AND SCHOOL app to your phone. (Play Store or App Store)
2. An activation email will be sent to the email you register on Phidias (please check inbox, spam or junk mail).
3. Open the email and at the bottom there is a red square where you assign your own password.
4. Go to the app and enter. User ( your email address ) / Password ( the one you assigned )
5. On the main screen you will see the map where you follow the route in real time.
The routes in the morning always have the acronym AM and those in the afternoon the acronym PM. (Example: 1AM-1PM)

BUS RULES
Rules are designed to allow the safe operation of the bus at all times, and the safety and security of its passengers. Please find them at the following link.
PRIVATE TRANSPORT
Parents sending their children by private transportation, please ensure that they arrive at school and are picked up on time.
All students by car must arrive between 7:50 am (not earlier) and 8:05 am. Cars must enter at the back exit (sports field) and students may only get out of the car within the school campus, while they are registered in the Ontrack Access device by a member of CGB staff.
In the afternoon all students must be picked up at the main gate between 15:15 and 15:30, parents or drivers must present their On track Access App as guardians to take the students.
If the person authorised is your driver or babysitter, you must register them in the Ontrack App as guardians uploading a photo of the ID of the person authorized to pick up your children.
If the card is for your driver or babysitter, you must send the mail attaching a photo of the ID of the person authorized to pick up your children.
In the event that your driver or nanny does not continue to work with you, you must notify us immediately to inform the staff and delete them as guardians from the Ontrack App.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in not insisting our doormen to allow you to park in front of the main gate as this is not permitted.
MAKING TRANSPORTATION CHANGES
The changes in transportation that we are handling at the moment are only as follows:
Different Drop off point on the same bus
Not attending school
No AM bus required
No bus PM - Gate pass (you must specify the reason for not taking the PM route). Example: he/she will be picked up by you or by the guardians of a classmate or another family member).
Any change in transport must be communicated through the Ontrack School Application. This video (At the moment only in Spanish) shows you the steps to follow:
Main menu
Permissions or News
Select the change you want to make (options are displayed)
The routes in the morning always have the acronym AM and those in the afternoon the acronym PM.
On this link, you will find the screenshots of every step.
If you are going to change your residence address, you must notify the change at least two (2) weeks in advance to the email transporte@cgb.edu.co with the new information and start date.
If you notify us less than two weeks in advance, we will not have enough time to make the necessary changes and the service cannot begin at the new address.
