Directions: With only 14 instructional days this month, we're only asking for one meaningful piece of evidence that reflects authentic student creation. Aim for depth and creativity — something that goes beyond a simple short-answer response to truly showcase student learning.

Submit evidence of assignments or student exemplars for a creation task before the end of November. Choose from the non-exhaustive list of tools below, or submit your own tool. Remember the main focus is student creation to showcase learning, so digital tools that encourage creation are great!

💻 Chromebook Tools

• Unleash creativity in Canva

  • Design a flyer

  • Create a brochure

  • Perfect a presentation

  • Direct a video

  • Record a podcast

• Generate original content in Adobe Express

  • Animate a character with your voice

  • Build a website

  • Create a poster

  • Design an infographic

• Leverage the Google Suite to do something beyond a customary essay

  • Build a Google Site

  • Craft a Google Slides deck

  • Use Google Sheets to create and explain a graph

  • Write a story in Google Docs

  • Design an illustration in Google Drawings

• Use the Drawing Tool in PearDeck to demonstrate understanding

• Create a review game for their classmates using Flippity.net

The canvas assignment for the November 🎨 Creating Mastery: Student as Designers of Learning will be open for submissions on November 1st and will close at 11:59pm on November 30th. 

Participants will be notified of Badges earned the week of December 1st. Physical Badges will be delivered by your DLS during December.
