To access your course logs, you can either watch this tutorial video or read the article below.
1. Navigate to the blue top navigation bar, and click 'REPORTS'.
2. You can generate detailed reports showing which course resources and activities have been accessed, when they were accessed, and who accessed them. The available types of reports include logs, live logs, activity reports, course participation reports, and activity completion reports.
3. Click LOGS to generate a filtered report showing information about a particular activity or student.
4. Select the logs you wish to view by applying filters to specify the information you want to generate. Afterward, click 'Get these logs’.
5. The page will refresh, displaying logs based on your chosen filters. You may download the report file to your computer.
6. Click 'LIVE LOGS' to generate a filtered report that displays information about activities performed within the past hour.
7. The page will refresh, displaying live logs from the past hour. These logs update every 60 seconds.
8. Click 'ACTIVITY REPORT' to generate a simple, unfiltered report that you can sort by column headers, displaying all course activities.
9. The page will refresh, displaying the activity report page that lists all course activities in the order they appear in the course sections. The 'Activity' column displays both the icon representing the activity type and the activity's name. In the 'Views' column, you can see the number of times each item has been viewed. Additionally, the 'Last Access' column provides information about the date when the item was last viewed and the time elapsed since its last viewing.
10. Click 'COURSE PARTICIPATION' to generate a sortable list that displays all student names along with specific details about a particular resource or activity.
11. The page will refresh where you can easily identify who has viewed a resource or submitted an activity.
12. Click 'ACTIVITY COMPLETION' to generate a list of all participants and determine whether they have completed activities. Please note that this report is only available if 'Enable completion tracking' is set to 'Yes' in your course settings.
13. The page will refresh, allowing you to view the completion status of an activity or resource.
14. To return to your course page, click 'COURSE' in the top navigation bar.
