Pesticide application notification
To staff, parents and other stakeholders,
Pursuant to the state of Oregon's pest management law (ORS 634-740), school districts must notify all stakeholders of any pesticide application within 24 hours of application.
This message is to serve as notice of the following pesticide application:
There will be a weed control application applied to ornamental grounds at Ash Creek Elementary School on June 19, 2026.
There will also be a pesticide application on the softball infield at Talmadge Middle School.

Se aplicará control de malezas en las áreas ornamentales de la Escuela Primaria Ash Creek el 19 de junio de 2026.
También se aplicará un pesticida en el cuadro interior del campo de sóftbol de la Escuela Secundaria Talmadge.

MISSION: The Facilities Services Department maintains and operates Central School District facilities in an effective and efficient manner to promote a positive, inclusive and equitable learning environment.
Facilities Services includes custodial and maintenance staff, helps with community use of facilities, and is responsible for compliance with laws and regulations regarding safety, security, and environmental health.
The Central School Board, on June 24, 2019, adopted a Healthy and Safe Schools Plan, in accordance with OAR 581-022-2223. The plan lists the ways the Districts prevents and handles potential hazards such as lead in water, radon, lead in paint, asbestos, carbon monoxide and pest management.

The District is seeking qualified individuals or firms to submit a proposal to assist the district with public relations and communications activities related to a potential facilities bond measure for the District.
