Inquiries, comments, or complaints from residents of the School District or from other individuals who have business with the District shall be dealt in accordance with t the following procedures:
Step One ‐ Any member of the public who wishes to express a complaint should discuss the matter with the school employee involved (teacher, counselor, assistant principal, secretary, etc). It is the intent of the district to solve problems and address all complaints as close as possible to their origination
Step Two ‐ If the complainant is unable to resolve a problem or concern at step one, the complainant may file a written, signed complaint with the principal. The principal shall evaluate the complaint and render a decision within [five] working days after receiving the complaint.
Step Three – If the complainant is unable to resolve a problem or concern at step two, the complainant shall file a signed, written complaint with the superintendent clearly stating the nature of the complaint.
Step Four – If the complainant is dissatisfied with the findings and conclusion at step three, the complainant may appeal the decision to the Board. Generally all parties involved, including the school administration, will be asked to attend such meeting for the purpose of presenting additional information.

Las consultas, comentarios o quejas de los residentes del Distrito Escolar o de otras personas que tengan negocios con el Distrito se tratarán de acuerdo con los siguientes procedimientos:
Paso Uno: Cualquier miembro del público que desee expresar una queja debe discutir el asunto con el empleado de la escuela involucrado (maestro, consejero, subdirector, secretario, etc.). La intención del distrito es resolver los problemas y abordar todas las quejas lo más cerca posible de su origen
Paso dos: si el denunciante no puede resolver un problema o inquietud en el paso uno, el denunciante puede presentar una queja por escrito y firmada ante el director. El director evaluará la queja y tomará una decisión dentro de cinco días hábiles después de recibir la queja.
Paso tres: si el denunciante no puede resolver un problema o inquietud en el paso dos, el denunciante deberá presentar una queja por escrito firmada ante el superintendente indicando claramente la naturaleza de la queja.
Paso cuatro: si el denunciante no está satisfecho con los hallazgos y la conclusión del paso tres, el denunciante puede apelar la decisión ante la Junta. En general, se pedirá a todas las partes involucradas, incluida la administración de la escuela, que asistan a dicha reunión con el fin de presentar información adicional.
