Here are two graphic organizers I created (using bubbl.us) to organize my thoughts concerning my teaching philosophies on student-centered and teacher-centered classrooms. I find myself aligning with a student-centered classroom concept. The students should be at the center of the learning process and teachers should be working to the best of their ability to help students regardless of their academic abilities.
Graphic organizers are excellent resources to use in the classroom. They can help students organize their thoughts, compare ideas, and brainstorm before completing assignments. They are also an attractive method to present information.
