The last color is red. Red represents fraternity. This means that the citizens of France are close-knit group of people with common beliefs and interests. Some may describe fraternity as friendship or brotherhood.

There are scenes carved into the structure to commemorate specific military events from France's past. The Arc de Triomphe is now a famous symbol of France.
