Future Forward Fundraiser
During the summer, 25 students traveled to the legendary Rogers Park Golf Course for lessons with First Tee. Beyond learning golf techniques, they discovered the game’s deeper lessons of patience, focus, and discipline that will benefit them both on and off the course.
This summer, our students didn’t just stay in the classroom, they explored, discovered, and experienced Florida like never before. From the thrills of Busch Gardens to the wonders of the Kennedy Space Center and the depths of the Florida Aquarium, every trip sparked curiosity and joy. They visited the 4H FAMU Farms, conquered the ropes at Tree Hoppers, teed off at Top Golf, rode horses at Gus Trent Horse Ranch, toured Tampa International Airport, and even laced up at United Skates. These moments weren’t just fun, they built confidence, teamwork, and lasting memories.
The High School Collab went back to college, this time taking their ambitions on the road! The journey began with a spirited stop at the University of Florida. Go Gators! Where students explored campus life and imagined themselves in blue and orange.
From there, the group headed to Atlanta for an inspiring tour of Georgia Tech and Clark Atlanta University, and Morris Brown College. They walked the historic quads, peeked inside cutting-edge classrooms, and experienced the Mercedes-Benz Stadium STEAM tour.
More than just a trip, this was a chance for our students to envision their futures, set their sights higher, and realize that with hard work and determination, these campuses, and countless others, could soon be called “home.”
This summer’s project-based learning gave students the freedom to dive deep into areas that inspired them, building practical skills and creative confidence.
