Season Recap

During Coach Fletcher’s first season at Central Dauphin, the start was better than anyone could have imagined. The Rams started out on fire winning their first six games (doubling the win total from the season prior). In those wins CD claimed the Lower Dauphin Tip-off Title defeating Lampeter Strasburg (the top 5A team in District III all season), and secured critical Mid Penn Commonwealth victories.

The season then got bumpy as the team adjusted to the new expectations that they created for themselves. The Rams only lost 2 games in a row one time all season but went just 9-8 after winning their first six games. The team had quite a few thrilling home victories against the top teams in the league (Chambersburg, Harrisburg, Cumberland Valley), and created a level of excitement and intrigue that would fill the gym every game down the stretch. A 15-8 final record was good enough for a tie for 3rd in the Commonwealth and a 6-seed in the District III playoffs.
