Junior High Varsity Coach

Coaching Bio:


Mr. Barry Reddish is entering his sixth season as 8th grade coach of the Central Dauphin Rams.  Coach Reddish is a native of Philadelphia and spent his days on the playgrounds of North Philly. Coach Reddish began his formal basketball career as a member of the inaugural team of the Penn State Delaware County Campus (now Brandywine) and was a two-year starter.

Fast forward to grad school at George Mason University in Virginia for teacher certification, and onto Lake Braddock Secondary, where Reddish was an assistant JV coach for the Bruins, and also coached the boys and girls tennis teams.  Mr. Reddish transferred to Herndon High School and was the JV basketball coach for the Hornets. 

A job promotion landed Coach Reddish in Camp Hill, and he became the JV coach of the Lions for a two-year stint.  The following season,, he was selected to be the head coach of the Camp Hill Varsity, and turned around a 5-19 record to 18-12, making it to district and state playoffs. For his efforts, Reddish was named the Sentinel Boys’ Basketball coach of the year in 2000.  Two, twenty win seasons followed, featuring a district runner-up appearance and making it to the state playoffs.

Coach Reddish is excited to lead the 8th grade program to another successful year and develop the future Rams!
