i saw a painting of a pig with wildflowers around it and one in its mouth. It seemed very homey and was very pretty. I thought i could put my own spin on it so i put a green background and I'm gonna do a fun rock-style flower print on the background. I started by paint a base layer of bright green to make it loud. Then I used transfer paper and traced my pig with a pencil. I took crimson and white and painted the big one base color. Then I took darker and lighter crimson to start adding dimension. I added the black eyes and nostrils. I'm nowhere near done yet so i still have to add more detail and mess around with the colors. I want the audience to think about how the pig fits into the context of the painting because it's very random and I want it to be confusing. I'm struggling with getting the lighter and darker colors to blend. if i were to start over on this painting i would start of using a lighter pink for the base. I love different flower patterns and i want mine to be very fun and loud. I like the crazy and confused part of this painting.
