Liam seikola "A new day."

6x9" granite on paper, 2026

Its from when i first got one of my dogs, Hank.

I used simple sketches and granite pencil to make this piece.

Its supposed to show a new view. A view of a new day when i first got my dog, Hank. its grey as its supposed to show how dull my life was for the short moment where i lost both of my dogs within a very short timeframe from eachother.

I struggled with making the head accurate and had to keep redoing the head and snout.

This is a more realistic art piece. i chose granite pencil as i am most comfortable with using a pencil and allows me to fix any mistakes i make.
