The Concert Band is the core musical experience for all Ridgeline wind instrument players. Rehearsals occur as a regular class during the school day. Registration for the Wind Ensemble is open to all who want to play a wind instrument.
The Concert Band holds four concerts each year in collaboration with the Ridgeline Percussion Ensemble, Ridgeline Jazz Band and other school and community groups.
In April of every year the Ridgeline Concert Band participates in the UHSAA and UMEA sponsered Region Concert Band Festival. The ensemble, when it qualifies, also participates in the State Band Festival.

Performance Attire
Performance Attire
Concert performances require appropriate dress to help us look our best. At Ridgeline we perform in concert black as explained below.
- Formal all black attire.
- Men should wear a tie (either bow tie or necktie). Either a black tuxedo jacket with a white shirt underneath or an all black button up shirt.
- Women can wear a skirt, dress or dress pants. Tops should be all black and formal in nature. Any skirts or dresses should be below the knee.
