Problem: Students may not have the resources to find an article.
Solution: Print off several articles and have them on-hand for those students who do not have access to internet or printing.
Problem: Reading level differences.
Solution: Anticipate those students who are at a lower reading level and find articles written at their level.
Problem: Students may need a refresher on Claim, Evidence, and Reasoning.

Science in the News can be implemented in different ways.
Monthly assignment: Some teachers make it a monthly assignment that students can choose any science topic and then do a share out. While the purpose of this is to get students reading science outside of normal school hours, students can become disinterested.
