Second grade students act as zoologists as they learn about animals, their homes, and how they can participate in protecting endangered species such as the sea turtle! Students practice their creativity and employee the engineering design process as they work to create a new animal and design a home for it. They will also learn about sea turtles and design a contraption that will help protect sea turtle eggs from predators. As students engage in enrichment they will also learn about coding using Kodable and Sphero indi.
