Meet the Enrichment Teachers

Birchwood ~ Link ~ West Nyack

Christie Trento has been teaching for 25 years. She has teaching certifications in elementary education, literacy, and gifted and talented education. Originally from the southwest, Christie moved to New York 25 years ago and has been a teacher in the Clarkstown Central School District since 2003. She loves animals, cooking, baking, gardening and spending time with her family. 

Laurel Plains ~ New City 

Karen Tenzer has been teaching for more than 20 years. She has teaching certifications in elementary education, reading, and gifted and talented education. Karen loves reading, traveling to new places, and spending time with family and friends. 

Bardonia ~ Strawtown ~ Woodglen

Lisa Imperial-DiNardo has been teaching for more than 25 years. She started her career in New York City. She, then, went to Armonk where she taught in their gifted and talented program and headed to Clarkstown 15 years ago. Lisa holds her academic certifications in elementary k - 6, gifted and talented education, and administration. When she’s not working with the elementary students, Lisa enjoys directing the plays and musicals at Clarkstown South High School with the Centerstage Drama Club and is also the club’s advisor. Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and she particularly loves all things Disney!!!

Melissa Tsironis has been a teacher for 18 years. She has teaching certificates in elementary and special education, and  is currently working towards her gifted and talented education certification.  Melissa has been teaching in the Clarkstown Central School District since 2016. Melissa enjoys finding opportunities to learn new things, going on adventures with her family, coaching cheer, and cooking and crafting.
