Fourth Grade

Native Ingenuity

Fourth grade students use the engineering design process to solve problems Native Americans faced hundreds of years ago. Students learn about how important natural resources and ingenuity were to the Native American tribes that lived in the New York area centuries ago as they work collaboratively to design and build food storage and wigwams.   Additionally, students explore Google Drawing as well as practice block coding with Ozobot as they build on skills they learned in third grade. Using Ozoblockly students will code Ozobot to tell the story of the day in the life of a Native American.
