Engaging in a unit about Mars, fifth graders take on the role of a NASA scientist! During their exploration of Mars students learn about how rovers are developed and used to explore the Red Planet.  Acting as engineers, students build prototypes of robots, fly  and test helicopters, and learn to block code Sphero Bolt! As students work together, they will code Sphero Bolt to make shapes and tell stories using light and sound functions. They will also code sphero Bolt to act as a rover on Mars!
