Foundations of American Government

You are a student applying for a scholarship from the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution Society. You have been tasked to research the philosophers and documents that influenced our Founding Fathers in devising a new form of government to replace the Articles of Confederation. You have to research different philosophies and principles from documents of the Enlightenment. Your task is to present an essay on the three philosophers or documents that justify the use of the ideas that were incorporated in the Constitution to form a republican form of government.
