Prayer Chair

We want to encourage you to be praying for your team and this trip before, during, and after your trip dates. Consider having each person on your team recruit 5-10 people who will pray consistently and specifically for the team, the project, and the people you are going to serve.

To help you and your team pray while on the project we have designed a Daily Prayer Schedule. You may have the members of your team sign up for one or more of the slots on the form. This way someone will be praying for the project throughout the day. You will also get a chance to get away and reflect a little each day and get to know the names of some people that you may not have known before.

You can access the Prayer Chair schedule on this page. It is a daily schedule, so be sure to print one for each day you are there if you choose to do so!

Here's how it works:

• Designate a Prayer Chair and location when you get to campus.

• Pass the Prayer Schedule around your team and have everyone sign up for a time slot. (Be sure the leaders sign up as well).

• Add any prayer requests that would be appropriate.

• Take the form with you to the Prayer Chair each day.

• The first person on the list will take the list and go to the Prayer Chair and pray for the slotted time. At the end of the prayer time, take the list and hand it off the next person on the list.

• That person will then go to the Prayer Chair and pray (and so on).

• Continue to add prayer requests as needed or as the Lord brings them to your mind.
