Welcome to LMS Basketball!

WHO: All Interested 6th, 7th & 8th Graders!!

WHAT: Basketball Tryouts

WHERE: LMS Gym

WHEN: Girls: October 4-5, 2023, 2:45-5pm. 

Boys: October 11-12, 2023, 2:45-5pm

Please have your rides pick you no later than 5:10pm.

HOW: Students will sign-up by turning in a teacher recommendation form (due the Wednesday before tryouts).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

     Complete physical packets MUST be updated in Dragonfly Max BEFORE conditioning/tryouts.

ALL physicals MUST be current and uploaded into Dragonfly Max. We will not accept any paper physicals.

Students need to have athletic attire, athletic shoes, and water bottle/water jug.

Students that make the team will need to have a set of black undergarments and a set of white undergarments to wear under the game uniform.

ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY:

1st Semester Eligibility is based on a student being promoted. If a student is promoted, they are eligible for 1st semester.

2nd Semester Eligibility is based on the student passing 5 of 6 classes during the 1st semester.

A student who will reach the age of 16 on or prior to May 1st is not eligible in middle school competition.

CONDITIONING:

There will be no pre-season conditioning this year.

First Day of Practice (Girls) October 6, 2023 2:45-4:30pm & (Boys) October 13, 2023 2:45-4:30pm. Parent Meeting at 4:30pm in the gym for both teams.

ALL football and basketball tickets MUST be purchased via GoFan. Columbia County Schools are not offering cash

tickets at the gate. LMS is offering the option to purchase season passes that will save you some money on the

transaction fees. Season passes are valid for regular season home games only. Tickets for playoffs and championships

will have to be purchased separately.

● General Admission Football Ticket - $5 per game, $15 for season passes

● Student Admission Football Ticket - $4 per game, $12 for season passes

○ Click on the desired event you would like to attend and enter the number of tickets you will need.

○ Click “Buy Tickets.” to be prompted to enter credit card information and complete your transaction.

■ There is a $1 per ticket transaction fee.

■ If you purchase 5 individual game tickets, there is a $5 transaction fee.

■ If you purchase season passes, you will save money on the transaction fees.
