Cambridge International AS and A levels are internationally benchmarked qualifications providing excellent preparation for college. The Cambridge AICE Diploma involves the selection of subjects from three curriculum areas—Mathematics and Science; Languages; Arts and Humanities from a wide range of subjects at International Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Level and the Advanced (A) Level. Students can earn an AICE Diploma by obtaining at least six credits, and obtaining at least one credit from each of the three curriculum groups. Students will demonstrate their mastery of material on the official AICE exam in May. There are two portions of the exam, known as “papers”, given on two different days. Per Cambridge International, there are no make ups for the exam. Cambridge International uses the name “papers” when referring to the exam. The Business Studies syllabus covers skills in knowledge, application, analysis, and evaluation. The AS Level paper places a larger weighting on the skills of knowledge and application, whereas the A Level paper places greater emphasis on the skills of analysis and evaluation.
