P.E.A.C.E. Points

The PEACE procedure is simple: do your part to support a peaceful learning environment each day in ELA, and you'll earn a participation grade along the way.

In other words, you are expected to be a PEACEful learner every day by being prepared, showing empathy, maintaining a positive attitude, cooperating with others, and putting forth the effort

You'll start each quarter with a 25-point participation grade in both language and reading.

Failure to comply with the PEACE procedure will result in a one-point deduction.

One (1) demerit will be issued for every three (3) peace point deductions.

Major infractions do not apply (see CCS Student Handbook).
