Access CWRU HPC via VPN

This page explains how to access CWRU HPC via VPN

In order to access CWRU HPC remotely, you may need to use Virtual Private Network (VPN). VPN requires Duo authentication.

1. Enroll in Duo

Recommend: Download Duo Security app on your phone first.

Follow the steps in the Duo page, and you will see the success page if you've done it correctly.

2. Download VPN (FortiClient)

Visit the VPN page, and choose the right FortiClient app for your Operating System.

3. Install VPN

If you have any problems, please check the Help page.

Note: If you are using Windows or Mac OS X, you can skip the configuration part.

4. Use VPN with Duo

This is the most important step.

If you have the Duo app on your phone, you can simply use push to authenticate:

Don't forget to enter , and push right after your password!

Then, click the connect button.

Check your phone and approve the notification.

Wait a second. You are connecting to the CWRU now!
