The Kitchen is the beating heart of any food service operation. In this area, raw and cooked food is stored, prepared and plated. It's where the meals are made. It nourishes the bodies, minds, and souls of friends and families around the world. Some argue that while life is created in bedroom, it is most definitely lived in the kitchen.
This lesson encompasses the structure of the kitchen, its uses, and how the kitchen should be cared for as one of the most important parts of the food service industry. It includes both small and large kitchen equipment, as well as kitchen machinery that are commonly found in our kitchens.
