Let's introduce ourselves to Social-Emotional Wellness (SEW). As you view the video clip, think about what is SEW and why it is so important in the elementary classroom.
Please keep in mind that the terms Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Social-Emotional Wellness (SEW) are often used interchangeably. Carroll County uses the terminology Social-Emotional Wellness because Carroll County focuses on the whole child. As you develop an understanding of SEW, you will often see it referred to as SEL as stated in the video clip.
