Registration

Registration for the 2023-2024 competition is online and begins September 1, 2023. Registration closes on October 6, 2023. No late registrations will be accepted. Click here to access the ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM.

We request that advisers handle the individual registrations.  This is to keep duplicates and other registration issues to a minimum.

STUDENTS MAY ONLY SUBMIT ONE PROJECT-excluding the Programming Challenge. We require notification to Cheryl Clark  for a student who wishes to participate in the Programming Challenge (the Programming Challenge categories are limited to 7th grade and above only.)

Each PROJECT entry should be registered as a separate registration.  TEAM PARTNERS should be registered together.

Each PARTICIPATING STUDENT will need to complete the Student Consent Form to bring to the fair.  The form MUST be submitted at the check-in table on the day of the competition.  The Student Consent form can also be found in the Documents Center.

All registrations MUST be complete prior to the deadline date.  This deadline is to allow time for the tech fair staff to arrange for judges, set the judging schedule, and other preparations needed to make the Tech Fair run smoothly.

Each school is limited to ONE PROJECT per grade-level division project category. Please contact Cheryl Clark with any questions.

Grade level divisions are as follows:

Grades 3-4

Grades 5-6

Grades 7-8

Grades 9-10

Grades 11-12

Students must be registered by their current grade level. Students of different grades who are entering as a team must compete at the highest of their grade levels.

All other categories are open to 3-12 competitors.

All categories are open to team competition.  Teams are restricted to a maximum of 2 participants.

Only first place winners will advance to the regional competition. Team Advisors will register all first place winners online for the regional competition after they are announced at the competition. Information for regional registration is forthcoming.
