SketchNotes are a HIGHLY effective tool in reaching gifted and and talented learners interests. SketchNotes provide opportunities for accelerated students to take ownership over organizing the material in a manner in which their brains can process and retain the information. They also pique the interest levels of these students by allowing them the freedom to organize their thoughts in a fun and alternative manner, ultimately leading to content comprehension and retention. There are a plethora of pre-made templates available to download and use for your students to introduce them to the concept of Sketchnoting, but remember, SketchNotes can be taylor-made to the individual student!
