Specialist Activities
Physical Education - Mrs. Carmel / Mr. Hunt
An activity has been placed in the Activities section of the Seesaw account, entitled "May 4th-8th FUN FITNESS MONTH- ." The activity will be used for both days your son/daughter has P.E. and is broken down to reflect what is expected each day.
Please email your child's PE teacher with any questions or concerns.
Music - Mrs. Monke
Asia (day 4)
Our last day in Asia, and our last day of international travels! Today's videos all involve rhythmic percussion sounds, created with sticks, drums, tambourine, and body percussion (patting, clapping and snapping). These percussion instruments play along with a melody. The melody is either sung with voices, or played on an instrument, such as a flute or stringed instrument.
After watching the video, see if you can play percussion sounds to accompany a melody. You can sing the melody yourself, or have someone else in your household make a melody with their voice or an instrument, while you play the percussion sounds. You can sing or play a song you already know, or you can make one up! Have fun!
