Miss Kristin's daily adventures!
Parent's Corner
During this unprecedented time there are so many emotions. Dealing with all of them, your family and your work can be difficult and overwhelming. Please try to take some time for yourself each day - whether it's scrolling social media, watching a show, talking to a friend, drinking your tea/coffee while its still hot - something just for you. Some days it might not happen until after the kids are a sleep, or before they wake up, it could be the 5 minutes they are engaged with the activity you took 20 minutes to set up, but try to find some time for you. Remember you are doing a great job! Even when you don't feel like it, you got this!

"Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day." - Alice Morse Earle

“The point of parenting is not to have all the answers before we start out but instead to figure it out on the go as our children grow. Because as they do, so will we.” — Bridgett Miller
"Promise me you’ll always remember, you’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and more loved than you know." - Christopher Robin

There is a lot of information, and it is a bit overwhelming at first. I have 2 suggestions for starting points. One is the read alouds Whole Body Listening at Home. The other is Create a Zones check-in at home. To get to that video, Click on the underlines Social Thinking link above, then scroll down and click on Videos: Teaching Social Thinking at Home, then scroll down their is a video on Create a Zones check-in for home.
