*Dear families,
The last-day-of school whole group zooms will be on Monday, June 22 (3-day class) and Tuesday, June 23 (2-day class). They will each be at 11:00 and invites will be sent out soon!
The preschool staff has had MANY conversations on how we could make the last day of school more personal and less virtual. Unfortunately, a parade or leaving something at your homes for the children (some of our ideas) are not going to work out due to many of the limitations we have at the moment. I really hope that I can see 100% participation on the last day Zoom. Mrs. Howard and I would love to say good-bye to all of the students together. Stay well!

Modifications:
1. Have your child cut out shapes depending on thier level of cutting skills. If your child can cut shapes of differet sizes/shapes, then certainly challenge them. Other students may only be able to cut out one straight line on a rectangle. Others, may just do some snipping. Whatever they are capable of is O.K. and great practice.
2. If your child is not at the level of creating their own pattern, draw the shapes in so they can just glue and match! :) Making your child feel successful at his/her own level is most important!!

Kite tail patterns
Your child can help to cut shapes with whatever level they are at (snipping, straight line, complete shape)
If your child understands the concept of patterns, challenge them with that. If your child is not yet patterning, it is o.k. for them to put the shapes on whereever they would like.
If your child is not able to name shapes, ask if they can point to or match the shapes :)
