Our school is located in the centre of Kayseri which is very close to Cappadocia Region (60 km). We have 1350 pupils and 130 staff at our school. We are proud of having the Quality Management Certificate (K-Q TSE ISO EN 9000).At present our school can provide a wide range of education including Biomedical, Textile, Mechanics, Chemistry and Information Technology. There are more than 130 teachers and around 1300 students in 41 classes. We have students aged 14-18, as well as graduates aged 19-20. The students take their school leaving exams at the age of 18-19. We are very proud of the fact that this school has always had a good reputation. At present it is one of the best secondary technical schools in Kayseri based on the results of the university entrance exams and other national contests. This is the main reason why we want to participate in this project. This project will give our students the opportunity to explore how the project affects people individualities and groups with regards to freedom of opinion and how our world view is shaped. Hence by inspecting the methods in EU countries and with the cooperation of each other’s help, our teachers can improve themselves and thereby we can give our students a better quality of education. Ultimately, the students will be well-educated and well-prepared to begin their new professional lives and will have better job opportunities in the future. The focus on Digital Marketing and E-commerce will provide our students knowledge about ICT competences of people based on individual, group and societal level in several European regions. The school management, the English and IT teachers will work on this project collaboratively. Our teaching concept places special emphasis on the idea of teaching contents making sure of creating a practical approach to the key competences prescribed in the curriculum, such as "Communication in foreign languages", "Digital competence", "Promoting entrepreneurship education and social entrepreneurship activities among young people" and "Reinforcing the development of key competences" which are relevant for this project. In addition, some teachers have also been trained in the application of new technologies such as the use of interactive whiteboards, the resources of the Internet like the Web 2.0, how to train about SEO, and innovative teaching methods such as Digital Marketing and E-commerce.
