1 John 5:14 says:
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us."
With the hustle and bustle of Christmas, it is easy to lose the true meaning of the day or to get distracted and feel like the Lord is not listening to us. But this Christmas season, let's take a minute to silence the distractions and quiet our hearts. Let's focus our eyes on Jesus and thank him for coming to earth. And since Christmas is not just about ourselves, we should also take some time to pray for others. Pray for the people who can't be loved during this season; let us pray for health for the sick and for provision for those that are in need. When we take the time to step back and approach God, we see that He is always listening and truly answers our prayers.
