This was our first meeting (image below)

hi

Gabriel Woodcock played (white) while Aiden Henry played (black) in this rather odd position. (Image above)

Elijah Leonard played (black) against Kira Blaivas (white) in this extraordinary game.

Elijah Leonard (white) played Mason Apodaca (black) in this extremely short game, ending in a disastrous checkmate on the white.

Our first and second meetings were AWESOME! We elected our leaders during our first meeting, and we also played a friendly tournament!

Here are the winners of our first meeting:
Aiden Henry won 1st place, wining 3/3 games
Kira Blaivas won 2nd place, wining 2/2 games
Gabriel Woodcock and Mason Apodaca tied for 3rd place, with both of them winning 1/2 games!

During our second meeting, we played another friendly tournament, but this time, Aiden Henry started all the games out with 4 knights. He helped by pointing out the best moves during each game that students were struggling with!

Here are the winners of our second meeting:
Aiden Henry won 1st place, wining 4/4 Games
Elijah Leonard won 2nd place, wining 2/3 games and having a long streak during the tournament
Gabriel Woodcock won 3rd place, wining 2/3 games!

Throughout our next meetings on the first and third Fridays of each month, we will do many more friendly tournaments and watch tons of lessons where PRO chess players teach you tactics!!
