Have you had some good news? Has someone done something nice for you? Maybe a client complimented you or a colleague made you a lovely hot beverage.
Is there something you would like to put in 'The Win Column'? Email cacbg.comms@cacbg.org.uk
A huge thank you to our Board of Trustees who, at the last Board meeting, agreed the cost of living payments to staff recently announced by Simon Ellington.
The Board is always hugely supportive of all us and the work we do and judging from the comments when Simon's email dropped, the staff very much appreciated the news.
Definitely one for the Win Column.
A huge thank you also to Carys, Wendy, Sophie, Keith and Lauren for speaking to the radio and TV recently. They didn't just expertly answer the questions put to them by the interviewers, they demonstrated the professionalism and commitment of our staff.
You've all done us proud. Thank you on behalf of everyone at Citizens Advice Caerphilly Blaenau Gwent.
Those of us who regularly check the Thanks tab on PeopleHR will have seen some lovely messages from colleagues to colleagues. Recent thanks have come from:
Gemma Powell to Rhiannon Whitfield -
Rhi- Your work ethic is amazing and I wanted you to know how appreciated you are!! Thank you for everything :)
From Lisa Penwill to Lloyd Jones -
Lloyd, thank you so much for being a calming presence and for looking after the team when the Team Leaders have been off. You are approachable and considerate to myself and my colleagues. Thank you :-)
Consumer Team Leader Luke Thomas thanked Sophie Cooper, Tina Gater and Jordan Williams -
Thank you for your hard work last week, you have made a huge impact on our email volumes. We really appreciate your support.
And Vanessa Powys received thanks from Pam Thomas - Thank you Vanessa. You have been exceptional in supporting new team members and helping out when I'm off. Massive thanks for sorting fuel vouchers. You are a star! *****
Jill Maddison has added this to the Win Column:
Thank you to the volunteers that are currently supporting the open door service in Bargoed. The doors open at 10am and close at 1pm. We are now getting between 8-10 clients on a Wednesday most of which are attending the drop in before 11am. Between 2 or 3 volunteers run the session and they are seeing everyone that drops in.
This week as a client was leaving he said to me: " You are a lifeline"
Thank you to all the volunteers that make clients feel this way.
MaPS DAP Trainee Debt Adviser, Zoe Jenkins had a lovely compliment from a client:
I would like to thank you for what I can only describe as a ‘First class service’.
Moreover, I have never used your service and did not fully understand how valuable it can be, I felt alone and vulnerable on my particular issue, and with just a short conversation, this was no longer the case and I had someone on my side.
So again, my sincere thanks to your organisation.
Really well done, Zoe.
From Ruth Headon:
I want to say a huge thank you to David (Williams) for helping me this morning with my printing problem; David you're a gem, you always are so helpful and make me laugh! You need to come over to the "dream admin team", you are the perfect problem solver!
From Gemma Powell:
Really appreciate how both Corinne (Lewis) and Ellie (Matthews) offer such extensive support to the rest of us as a team, in addition to managing their own work. Both very professional and so much patience. Thank you guys :)
But perhaps our favourite, this from Cath Davies, who had quite the dilemma:
THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Vanessa Powys
After 5 of us struggling to open my tin of sausage and beans for lunch she managed to get it open ! Rhys Lewis - thank you too, even though you told me it was a left-handed tin opener :)
