Transformation

Transformation does not happen by learning new information.  It happens when you change how you view and react to other people, events, and things around you

(Med Jones -  International Institute of Management)

Introduction

Transformation is the term used to describe the legal process by which an existing school applies to become Integrated.  However this simple description does not reflect the changes in culture, character and ethos that are expected of any school that undertakes the journey towards Integrated Education.

If you are new to the concept of Integrated Education and have not yet had the opportunity to explore the websites of the Northern Ireland Council for Integrated Education (NICIE) and the Integrated Education Fund (IEF) you should do so now before proceeding with this section.

These sites provide comprehensive information about the nature of Integrated Education and the process of Transformation, which will complement what you find on the Integrated Education Hub.
