INGREDIENTS:
1/3 cup of fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons of honey
3 tablespoons of canola oil
1/2 red onion, diced
3 small shallots, thinly sliced
1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, lemon juice, and honey
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onion and shallots. Cook until vegetables soften, about 5 min. Add the turkey and season with salt. Cook, stirring frequently, until the meat and vegetables are cooked through, about 5 min
Add the dressing to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes. Remove from the heat. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Spoon the turkey mixture onto the lettuce leaves and enjoy with soy sauce and shredded carrots.
