Cap, gown and tassel pick up dates are May 11th during Advisory and May 12th before school in the Commons. If you cannot pick up your cap/gown/tassel at these times, but would like a friend or sibling to pick it up for you, please email Mrs. Martin at becky.martin@byron.k12.mn.us to grant permission.
Senior Academic and Scholarship Awards Program will be held on Wednesday, May 27th at 6:00 pm in the Byron High School Commons. All local scholarships will be awarded that evening. Plan accordingly as attendance is mandatory for those earning local awards. If a student would like to be recognized for a non-local scholarship they've earned, they must submit documentation of the scholarship by May 1st to the counseling office.
Senior Clap Out & Graduation Practice...THURSDAY, MAY 28th Seniors will board buses from the HS at 9:00am SHARP to travel to the BPS, BIS and BMS for Senior Clap Out. Seniors get to walk the halls of the Primary, Intermediate and Middle Schools in their caps/gowns (leave tassel at home to avoid losing) while cheering students and faculty congratulate them on their accomplishment. Students will return to the HS for graduation practice immediately following (approximately 10:00 am) in the high school gym. Senior attendance is requested for Senior Clap Out, but is REQUIRED for graduation practice if you would like to participate in the graduation ceremony, unless approved in advanced by Mrs. Schroeder.
Class of 2020 Graduation Ceremony will be held Sunday, May 31st at 2:00 pm in the Byron High School Gym. There is no reserved seating and tickets are not sold for this event.

Final Transcripts... late May 2020 is the time to order your final (year end) transcript on www.parchment.com. The college you plan to attend this fall will not let you attend classes until they have your final transcript. ALL TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS SHOULD BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN MAY 29th. Students who have taken college coursework while in high school will also need to request college transcripts from the college to be sent to their destination college. Make sure college grades have been posted before requesting college transcripts - typically mid June. More information and links can also be found here.
