The military requires interested recruits complete the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery). It is one of the most widely used, multiple-aptitude tests in the world, developed and maintained by the Department of Defense. BHS students can take the exam in Rochester (check under upcoming events), or arrange a time with a recruiter. Practice tests are available and all students are strongly encouraged to prepare for this exam as the scores will determine which military occupational specialty the recruit is eligible to apply.
